On December 10, 2024, ORION SOLAR ENERGY Ltd. launched the implementation of the Grant Agreement BG05SFPR002-1.004-1043-C01 under the project "Healthy and Safe Working Environment at ORION SOLAR ENERGY Ltd."

Project Objective:

Achieving a healthy and safe working environment and sustainable working conditions for employees, contributing to the reduction of workplace health risks and the improvement of occupational health and safety standards.

Specific Objectives:

• Creating high-quality jobs at ORION SOLAR ENERGY Ltd. and adapting to changes in the work environment related to the transition to a climate-neutral economy and evolving work models.
• Developing and implementing "green" labor organization models at ORION SOLAR ENERGY Ltd.
• Providing high-quality personal protective equipment (PPE) and specialized workwear that meet the dynamics of the work process.
• Improving occupational health and safety conditions by purchasing collective protective equipment.
• Providing social benefits for employees, including the installation of rest, dining, and break areas.

The general and specific objectives of this project are fully aligned with Priority 1, SC4 of the "Human Resources Development" Program 2021-2027, which aims to promote the adaptation of workers, enterprises, and entrepreneurs to changes, support active aging and healthy aging, and ensure a healthy and well-adapted working environment that addresses health risks.

Project Implementation Impact:

The project will result in the creation of high-quality jobs and adaptation to changes in the work environment, particularly in connection with the transition to a climate-neutral economy and evolving work models.

Activities will be carried out to improve working conditions at the company, including:

• Development and implementation of "green" labor organization models.
• Procurement of PPE and specialized workwear for employees.
• Procurement of collective protective equipment.
• Provision of social benefits for employees, including the installation of rest, dining, and break areas.

Project Activities:

1. Development and implementation of "green" labor organization models, tailored to the specific workplaces within the company. Creation of "green" workplace organization maps. Training for the target group on implementing "green" labor organization models.
2. Procurement of personal protective equipment (PPE) and specialized workwear for employees at ORION SOLAR ENERGY Ltd.
3. Provision of collective protective equipment to improve working conditions.
4. Provision of social benefits for employees, including the installation of dining and break areas within the company.

Expected Results:

• Implementation of "green" labor organization models tailored to specific workplaces.
• Development of "green" workplace organization maps.
• Training of target group members in implementing "green" labor organization models.
• Safer working environment with improved occupational health and safety conditions.
• Provision of high-quality modern PPE and specialized workwear, in line with the work process dynamics and risk assessments.

• Winter work shoes – 11 pcs.
• Summer work shoes – 11 pcs.
• Leather and fabric gloves – 11 pcs.
• Work jacket – 11 pcs.
• Work trousers – 11 pcs.
• Short work trousers – 11 pcs.
• High-visibility dungarees – 11 pcs.
• Water and cold-resistant work vest – 11 pcs.
• Waterproof suit (jacket and trousers) – 11 pcs.
• Winter work jacket - 11 pcs.
• Safety helmet – 11 pcs.
• Protective glasses (UN 400) – 11 pcs.

Procurement and Installation of Workplace Amenities:

• Office container (without air conditioning, 240cm/600cm/250cm) – 2 pcs.
• Mobile chemical toilet – 2 pcs.
• Kitchen table (90cm x 160cm) – 2 pcs.
• Chairs - 12 pcs.
• Refrigerator (total capacity: 251L; fridge capacity: 230L; freezer capacity: 21L) – 2 pcs.
• Cooking stove (2 ceramic hotplates, oven capacity: 38L) – 2 pcs.
• Air conditioner (9000BTU, inverter, A+++ energy efficiency class) – 2 pcs.

The project is co-financed by the European Union.

• National co-financing: 19,278.48 BGN
